Reviewing Battery States
Any of the following battery states can appear on the Power Page.
Estimated battery runtime
Charger Off
Charging
Maintain Charge
Low Power Input
Too Hot/Cold
Over Voltage
The Memory page displays a helpful data storage calculator that can help you
estimate the amount of storage a measurement might require as shown in
Figure 4-8.

Understanding the Live Tab
If the meter is being powered by batteries, an estimated run-
time is listed in hours.
The batteries are not charging.
Batteries are charging.
Batteries are at capacity.
The USB cannot supply power sufficient to charge the internal
batteries.
Batteries are not charging because there is an invalid tem-
perature range detected for safe charging.
Attempted to charge; non-rechargeable cells, or batteries are
failing.

After you configure the measurement Setup, the File Size
Estimation Total becomes valid for your proposed
measurement.

Time History (h/d): When 2 values display on this line, the
first value is the amount of memory required to store each hour
of time history data. The second value is the amount of
memory required to store each day of time history data.

Events: When enabled, Events (ea.) is the amount of
memory required for each event. Event Num: Enter a number,
which is the number of events you anticipate during the
measurement.
