Measurement History
SoundAdvisor Model 831C
On the Control tab, there are 6 Run Modes available. Your choice determines
which other settings and features are available. Click on a link below to learn
about a run mode.

Using this mode, you plan to start and stop the measurement manually. In
this mode, the 831C meter preference for Auto-Store determines what
happens when you stop the measurement.
Step 1
Select Manual Run/Stop from the Run Mode drop-down menu.
Step 2
If desired, enable any additional settings on the Control tab, and return to Step 8
on page 6-5.
Using Timed Stop Mode
Recommended for:

The measurement is initiated manually, and stops automatically after the
period you indicate.
Step 1
Select Timed Stop from the Run Mode drop-down menu.
a. Enter the measurement length in the Time (hh:mm:ss) field.
Step 2
If desired, enable any additional settings on the Control tab, and return to Step 8
on page 6-5.
