The following procedure verifies that the 2461 TYPE C can accept,
process, and transmit device- dependent messages over the
VXIbus.
Perform the following procedure:
(1) Power-on the VXI Chassis/Mainframe containing the 2461
(2) Perform a test as shown below:
Action
Send the IEEE-488.2
command "*TST?"
(3) Read the data in the output buffer.
Action Self Test Data
Read Data "0" = Pass NON Zero value indicates a failure
