The Resolution text box controls the number of digits of

The Average binary switch enables or disables the averaging of
measurement results. When Average is enabled, the 2461 Type
C takes 100 measurements and calculates the average value.
The Input1 and Input2 text boxes in the Manual Trigger Level
group control the trigger levels of the two channels when
Manual Trigger is set. Note that updating these levels while in
Auto Trigger mode automatically enables Manual Trigger mode.
The Open Gate and Clear controls manage the Manual Totalize

stop the counting. Successive counts are cumulative. The Clear
button allows the user to reset the Totalize count.
The Single Shot and Continuous buttons control the actual
measurement process. Pressing the Single Shot button initiates

the Continuous button causes the 2461 Type C to take
continuous measurements with the results reported in real-time.
The Abort button aborts the measurement in progress by
forcing the 2461 Type C into the Idle State.
The RESET button resets only the currently selected UCT if
there are two UCT's installed.
The Help button supports on-line help that provides the user
with an efficient way to use the panel without referring to printed
documentation.
The Arming button (Configuration group) manages the source

contained in the secondary panel illustrated in figure 5-2.
