Phase Measurement
Phase measurement on the UCT is a sequence of functions, and is accomplished by
measuring the time interval between the two signals and calculating the phase as a
function of the total Period. This complex measurement is implemented as a series of
three measurements:
1) A Ratio 1/2 or (2/1) to determine if the signals are the same frequency.
(
(2) A Period measurement to determine the period of the reference signal.
(3) A Time Interval measurement to determine the time difference between the two
signals.
