Set the UCT to its default state. Select 50

Configure UCT as follows:

INP1:IMP 50
Connect the UCT to the signal generator as shown in Figure 6-
9.
SIGNAL GENERATOR

Set the signal generator to 1MHz, 10mV. Increase the signal
generator output level until the UCT gives a stable reading. Note
the signal generator output level.
Enable the UCT Input 1 attenuator and check that the UCT no
longer counts. Increase the signal generator until the UCT gives
a stable reading. Note.the signal generator output level and
check that this level is approximately ten times the level
previously noted.
Disconnect the test equipment.
