This section discusses the 4349B's general con guration topics that apply to many or all
measurement functions.

To Reset the 4349B

Resetting sets the 4349B to its default settings. To reset the 4349B:
Press to display the system reset menu.

To Perform the OPEN Correction Function

The OPEN correction cancels the 4349B's o set error and the test xture's leakage current. To
perform the OPEN correction:
1. Connect the test leads for all channels to the 4349B without connecting the DUT.
2. Press . While the OPEN Correction procedure is in progress, the message
will be displayed, and when the OPEN correction procedure is nished, the
previous display is returned.

To Select a Measurement Parameter

The current measurement parameter is shown on the left side of the display when the display
is in the display mode; for resistance and for current. To select measurement
parameter:
