Locking Out the Front Panel Keys

To lockout the keys:

Selecting Local Mode

To return the 4349B to local mode from GPIB remote mode:

Setting the GPIB Address

Printing Measurement Data

The 4349B can print measurement data to an GPIB compatible printer without using an
external controller. To do so, you must:
1. Set the printer to listen-always mode. (Consult the printer manual for instructions.)
2. Connect the printer to the 4349B's GPIB port.
3. Turn the printer ON.
4. Set the 4349B's GPIB address to 31 (talk only mode).

The printer will automatically begin printing the measurement data.
5. To stop printing, change the 4349B's GPIB address to an address other than 31 (for example,
17, which is the default setting).
