Before installing
resistors
IMPORTANT: After installing the custom gate resistors on the
module, the module must have Gate Resistance Rg calibrated
before use. Calibration measures the resistor value and stores it in
the module's EEPROM. Refer to the PD1500A Software Guide or
the PD1000A On-line Help for complete calibration instructions.
Keysight Double-Pulse Test Fixture Installation and Use Guide
Gate Drive Resistors, RG1 and
RG2, must be equal values.
RG1 is an Imperial size 1206
(L = 3.20 mm, W = 1.60 mm)
RG2 is an imperial size 0603
(L = 1.55 mm, W = 0.85 mm)
