Double-Pulse Test System Si/SiC Test Fixture

General Information
The PD1500A Double-Pulse Test (DPT) system is common test circuit for
characterizing power transistors. In general, it enables the analysis of turn-on
and turn-off characteristics for different supply voltages and for different current
levels.
The PD1500A DPT system is part of the PD1000A Power Device Measurement
System for Advanced Modeling system.
In this Chapter:
The test fixture and test modules described in this manual are for
Si/SiC devices only. They are not suitable for GaN devices.

Failure to properly install the Device Under Test (DUT) transistor
on the DUT Test Modules (PD1000-60901 or PD1000-62401) or to
properly install SMD Gate Drive Resistors on the PD1000-66541
and PD1000-66540 Gate Drive Modules can result in damage to
the PD1500A Test System. This damage is not covered by the
product warranty.
