VALUE 20 mA Use this function to assign the 20 mA current a value.
(4003) The value can be greater or less than the value assigned to 0/4 mA, (function VALUE
0_4 mA (4002) → Page 39). Positive and negative values are permissible, depending on
the measured variable in question (e.g. volume flow).
Example:
4 mA assigned value = – 250 l/h
20 mA assigned value = +750 l/h
Calculated current value = 8 mA (at zero flow)
Note that values with different signs cannot be entered for 0/4 mA and 20 mA (function
4002) if SYMMETRY is the setting selected for the MEASURING MODE function (4004).
In this case the message "INPUT AREA EXCEEDED" appears.
