Locations where the script languages is used

In the script language section, a basic programming language is described, which is based on
known elements of other programming languages.
Scripts can be created for dialogs, steps, actions, manipulation tasks and change tasks. The
task editor supports creation of scripts by syntax checking, syntax highlighting, automatic
completion, and with an extensive shortcut menu.
Scripts can be used in:
● Dialogs (dialog scripts)
● Steps (step scripts)
● Actions (action scripts)
● Manipulation tasks
● Change tasks
Dialogs
On selected dialog pages, scripts can be executed at defined points in time.

Steps
Scripts can be saved for each step in the step tree, which are executed when executing the
step before the linked components.
The current and all subsequent steps can be controlled using these scripts.

Actions
For every action in a component, a script can be stored that is run in advance before the
associated action is run.
Execution of the action can therefore be controlled or a script can also be kept out of tasks.
The advantage of the latter is that the data derivations from Diff (machine data lists, etc.), for
example, can be used directly and "unadulterated".
