Step scripts

The following settings are available for the property group "Step scripts":

Step scripts
The step scripts can be stored in the "Steps" tab for each step under the properties group "Step
scripts" in the "Scripts" property.
Executing scripts of steps
The processing of the steps and possibly existing step scripts (in the yellow box) is
schematically shown in the following diagram.
The procedures, which may potentially control the sequence of the step or script, are listed by
way of example.
In the step script, you can generally use all the elements of the script language. See also the
section Script language (Page 279) and observe the supplementary conditions stated in the
section Data accesses (Page 333).
The context menu supports you when generating your script.

No warning message is output.
A warning message is output if the step is activated.
A warning message is output if the step is not activated.
The operator then has the option of confirming the setting using "OK" – or after "Cancel"
– can correct the step activation before execution is continued.
You can call the "ScriptEditor Script - <Number and name of the step> (OnProc)" dialog
page here via the <...> button.
A script can be inserted which is executed at the beginning when the step is executed.
For example, a step condition can be programmed in this step script.
