Language resource files

The language resource files are available for managing the user interface languages.
The following language resource files are created in the respective language resource folder:
● Dialog.ts - contains information texts of the dialogs.
● Step.ts - contains information texts of the steps and the step names.
● User.ts - contains texts that are used in the scripts.
You can find the entry to the language resource folders in the project folder via the "Package"
tab > "Language" >"Manage resources" > "List of the language resources" dialog.
The language resource files are assigned to the respective language via the language resource
folder.
The language resource files are created with the Resource Editor (Page 358) integrated in
Create MyConfig.
The language resource files are provided in an XML format that conforms to the requirements
of the ""Linguist"" translation tool. This format is also used for SINUMERIK Operate.
Note
Change the resource files only with the Resource Editor
Because of their special format, we recommend that the resource files are changed only with
the integrated Resource Editor.
Any errors that result from using an unsuitable tool can make the file unusable.

A project example for the user interface language is contained in the "Examples" folder in the
installation directory for Create MyConfig 4.8.

All language resources for the desired standard languages (Page 346) are created and
managed via the "List of language resources" dialog.
