13.2.2 Transformador toroidal exterior "Source Ground Return"
Este transformador toroidal se instala en el centro estrella de la máquina
que se debe controlar (motor, generador, transformador, etc.) y realiza la
protección "Source Ground Return".
Es obligatorio que el centro de la estrella esté conectado a tierra y que el
mismo no se utilice como conductor de neutro (como en el sistema TNC)
realizando una protección según el sistema TT. Para habilitar la función
es necesario efectuar una configuración precisa desde la parte delantera
de la unidad (véase par. 13.4.1).
Los transformadores toroidales (especiales que sólo suministra ABB
SACE) se caracterizan por los siguientes valores nominales:
Corriente nominal primaria
Frecuencia de trabajo
13.3 Interfaz usuario
Esta unidad introduce un nuevo sistema de diálogo con el usuario ya que
las configuraciones de las funciones de protección, control, medida y
comunicación se han efectuado mediante un menú guiado mostrado en
un display y con el uso de algunas teclas.
13.3.1 Display y teclas función
La unidad utiliza un display LCD alfanumérico de 4 líneas de 20 caracteres
cada una y está retroiluminado cuando se encuentra presente la tensión
auxiliar. El display se activa a partir de una corriente primaria monofásica
igual a 0.35 x In monofásica o 0.2 x In bifásica.
Cada vez que se activa la unidad, el display muestra la página siguiente:
(*) Indicación visualizada sólo en caso de relé PR112/LSIG (P o PD).
En el caso de que el operador desee efectuar operaciones de lectura o de
configuración de datos basta pulsar la tecla ESC (escape) o ↵ (envío) y
se mostrará automáticamente la página correspondiente al menú princi-
pal:
Mediante las teclas ↑ (flecha hacia arriba), ↓ (flecha hacia abajo ), ↵
(envío) y ESC (escape) es posible moverse en el interior del menú
principal y ver todas las páginas correspondientes a las configuraciones
y parámetros. Con el esquema siguiente se pueden observar todas las
páginas que se pueden obtener (en la ejecución SACE PR112/PD) y los
movimientos que se deben efectuar con el teclado, con la llave en
posición READ (sólo para la lectura de los datos) o con la llave en posición
EDIT (para la programación de los parámetros de protección).
En este último caso, las variables descritas por las letras xxx, yyy, kkk,
zzz y www se pueden rellenar utilizando las teclas ↑ o ↓ y confirmar con
la tecla ↵ .
En el caso de que sea necesario repetir la programación de un parámetro
apenas configurado, basta pulsar la tecla ESC una sola vez y el cursor
del display se colocará en la primera línea de la página seleccionada; para
volver al menú principal, es necesario pulsar dos veces la tecla ESC.
N.B.: Si la página visualizada es la página del menú principal o de otros
submenús, se pueden obtener dos funciones diferentes según la
posición de la llave.
Llave en posición READ:
Tras aproximadamente 20 segundos se visualiza automáticamen-
te la página correspondiente a las corrientes.
Llave en posición EDIT:
La página visualizada es siempre la seleccionada.

13.2.2 "Source Ground Return" external toroidal transformer
This toroidal transformer is placed on the centre star of the machine to
be controlled (motor, generator, transformer, etc.) which carries out the
"Source Ground Return" protection.
It is obviously compulsory for the star centre to be connected openly to
earth and that it not be used as a neutral conductor as well (as in the TNC
system), making up a protection according to the TT system. To enable
the function, it is necessary to carry out a precise configuration from the
front of the unit (see para. 13.4.1).
The toroidal transformers (special and only supplied by ABB SACE) are
characterised by the following rated values:
Rated primary current
Operating frequency
13.3 User interface
This unit introduces a new interfacing system with the user since the
configurations of the protection, control, measurement and communica-
tion functions are made by means of a guided menu shown by a display
and with the use of some keys.
13.3.1 Display and function keys
The unit uses an alphanumerical LCD display with 4 lines of 20
characters each and is illuminated from the rear when the auxiliary
supply is on.
The display is active when there is a primary single-phase current of 0.35
x In single-phase or 0.2 x In two-phase.
Each time the unit is activated, the display shows the following page:

(*) Indication only displayed in the case of SACE PR112/LSIG (P or PD) relay.
Should the operator want to carry out read-out or data configuration
operations, it is only necessary to press the ESC (Escape) key or ↵ (enter)
and the page with the main menu is displayed:
1. Config./Program
2. Test
3. Ammeter
4. Other functions
Now with the ↑ (up arrow), ↓ (down arrow), ↵ (enter) and ESC (Escape) keys
it is possible to move around inside the main menu and access all the
pages relative to configurations and parametrisations.Using the following
map, all the pages obtainable are displayed (in the SACE PR112/PD
version) and the movements to be made on the keyboard, with the key in
the READ position (for data readout only) or with the key in the EDIT
position (for setting protection parameters).
In the latter case, the variables described by the letters xxx, yyy, kkk, zzz
and www can be compiled using the ↑ or ↓ keys and confirmed with the
↵ key.
Should it be necessary to repeat programming of a parameter which has
just been configured, simply press the ESC key once and the cursor of the
display will go back to the first line of the same page selected, otherwise
press ESC twice to return to the main menu.
N.B.: When the page displayed is the main menu or other sub-menus,
two different operating modes can be obtained depending on the
position of the key:
Key in the READ position:
after about 20 seconds, the page relative to the currents will
automatically be displayed.
Key in the EDIT position:
the page displayed will always be the one selected.
