Messages and Error Messages

This section describes messages displayed during normal printer operation or when errors occur, and solutions to the messages.

Status messages

This section describes messages displayed during printer normal operation.
When the product is operating correctly, each operation status is displayed on the operation panel as below.

Status messages

Display
Activation has not been executed.
Consult the relevant section of the Startup Guide, and carry out activation.

Standby (Media is loaded).
Standby (Media is not loaded).
An obstacle has been detected. Press the [Remove Media] key, and reset the
media in place.

Receiving data.
Analyzing data.
Under printing.
Displays the length of the data that has not been printed in meters for the
data currently being printed.
Displays the time remaining to print in minutes for the data currently being
printed.
Printing is paused. To resume, press the [Enter] key.
Turning OFF the printer.Wait for a while.
Reading the S/C card.
Ink is circulating inside the printer.
The remote panel mode is running, via VSM or similar. In the remote panel
mode, operations via the operation panel are not possible. To terminate the
remote panel mode, give the [Cancel] key a long press, for 2 seconds or more.
Ink charging starts.
Please wait a while.
Washing Print head.
Install the cleaning cartridges.
• Initial charging, ejecting filler fluid.
• Washing the print head by cleaning fluid.
Please wait a while.
Washing Print head or discharging ink.
Remove the cartridges.
Charging the ink.
