Shaking ink cartridges

Shake the ink at the following times to prevent it from settling out and/or coagulating:
• Before starting and after ending daily printing work
• When any of the messages below appears
Six color set:
Shake W Cartridge
Shake KMCY Cartridge
Shake KMCYW Cart.
Four color set:
Shake ALL Cart.
Important!
• Shake the ink cartridges periodically.
Otherwise, the ink inside the cartridges settles or coagulates and may cause poor print quality or a malfunction.
• You should shake the ink cartridges soon after a message telling you to do so appears. Otherwise, for 12 hours after the message
appears, you will repeatedly have to wait a certain time before you can print. When 12 hours have passed, printing will become
impossible. In either case, you can restore the printer to normal condition by shaking the ink cartridges.
CAUTION
Skin or eye contact with UV curable ink may cause skin inflammation or allergic reaction.
For this operation, be sure to wear the supplied gloves (or solvent resistant gloves) and goggles to prevent ink from
contacting with your eyes or skin.

Shake the White (Wh) ink cartridge.
• Displayed every 12 hours.
Shake the Black (K), Magenta (M), Cyan (C), and Yellow (Y) ink
cartridges.
• Displayed every 72 hours.
Shake the Black (K), Magenta (M), Cyan (C), Yellow (Y), and White (Wh)
ink cartridges.
Shake the Black (K), Magenta (M), Cyan (C), and Yellow (Y) ink
cartridges.
• Displayed every 72 hours.
