Force flag options
Press the number key that corresponds to Unforce, Force ON, or Force OFF to select the
desired state.
Only the available options in the current state are displayed. For example, if the flag state
is Force OFF, only Unforce and Force ON are displayed when the flag force screen is
accessed again.
When a force is removed, the status remains in the forced state unless changed by the
control application logic.
In addition to being able to be forced, flags can be configured as retentive.
Set as Retentive – When a flag is set as retentive, it stores the current state in memory in the
event of a power failure. When power is restored, the stored state is recalled, and the flag is
placed in that state.
To set the flag as retentive, from the flag list screen, use the  or  key to highlight the
desired flag. Press the <OK> key, and then press the <4> key to set the flag as retentive.

retentive.
