Analog inputs

Analog inputs can be located on either the optional I/O expansion module or some base
units. Each input channel has a signal and return terminal, labeled as Ax+ or Ax– where x
indicates the channel number. Channel numbering starts with 0.

Connected devices may be either 3-wire or 4-wire devices. For 0-10 V devices, a separate
10 V power supply is required.

Analog outputs

Analog outputs are located on optional expansion modules only. Each output channel has
a current or voltage signal.
The analog output module requires a separate 24 V DC power supply.

Each output channel has a current or voltage signal. Terminals are labeled as COM, shared
by all channels, Ix where I indicates current output or Ux where U indicates a voltage output.
The x indicates a channel number. Channel numbering starts with 0.
