Digital outputs

24 V DC systems with digital outputs can connect to devices as either a sinking (NPN)
output, with the return switched, or sourcing (PNP) output, with the signal switched.
Output channels are labeled as Qx where x indicates the channel. Channel numbering
starts with 0. Positive (+) and negative (–) terminals are common for all channels.
