INFORMATION
Switching off the Axon-Bus prosthetic system during extended passive pauses (e.g. air or rail travel, visit to a
theatre or cinema, etc.) will make the battery last longer before requiring a recharge. Only the entire Axon-Bus
prosthetic system with all connected components can be switched off. Individual Axon-Bus components cannot
be switched off separately.

2.8 Charging Receptacle

The charging receptacle (Fig. 1, item 2) has the following functions when the AxonArm Ergo is connected with the
AxonMaster:
Contacts for charging the battery
LED display to indicate the current battery charge level
LED display for providing feedback on operating states
Button to turn the Axon-Bus prosthethic system on and off, display the battery charge level and open the Axon-
Bus gripping component in an emergency
Beeper for providing feedback on operating states
Button for activating the Bluetooth function

2.9 Rechargeable Battery

The rechargeable battery (Fig. 1, item 1) consists of Li-ion cells with integrated electronics. This protects the bat
tery against short circuits, overvoltage, undervoltage and charging outside the allowable temperature range.
