This chapter explains how to mount and remove the following
components for maintenance work and conversion:
On valve positions: the mounting and removal of valves,
cover plates, pressure regulator plates, flow control
plates, vertical pressure shut−off plates and vertical pres
sure supply plates.
On the pneumatic supply plate: the mounting and
removal of the exhaust plate or the exhaust port cover.
The mounting and removal of the manifold sub−bases,
the pneumatic supply plates and the right−hand end plate.
The following activities are also described:
Adding of pressure zones
Converting the valve terminal into internal or external
pilot air supply
Soft−start valve:
Information on mounting the soft−start valve with the corre
sponding manifold sub−base can be found in the assembly
instructions provided with the product.
VTSA... valve terminal with CPX terminals:
Information on mounting /removing components and on
the electrical connections can be found in the CPX system
manual.
VTSA... valve terminal with FB21 (type 03):
Information on mounting /removing components and on the
electrical connections can be found in the FB21 electronics
manual.
VTSA... valve terminals with multi−pin:
Instructions on connecting the electric components can be
found in the package insert.
