Warning
VTSA... valve terminals with 24 V DC control voltage:
Use only PELV circuits as per IEC/DIN EN 60204−1 for
·
the electric power supply (protective extra−low voltage,
PELV).
Also observe the general requirements for PELV circuits
in accordance with IEC/DIN EN 60204−1.
Use only power sources that guarantee reliable
·
electrical isolation of the operating voltage as per
IEC/DIN EN 60204−1.
VTSA... valve terminals with 110 V AC control voltage:
Observe the applicable safety regulations for working
·
with 110 V AC control voltage.
Make sure that the earth terminal of the valve terminal
·
is connected to the protective earth.
Protection against electric shock (protection against direct
and indirect contact) is guaranteed in accordance with IEC/
DIN EN 60204−1 by using PELV circuits (electrical equipment
of machines, general requirements).
Note
Check within the framework of your EMERGENCY STOP
circuit to ascertain the measures necessary for putting
your machine/system into a safe state in the event of an
EMERGENCY STOP (e.g. switching off the operating voltage
for the valves and output modules, switching off the com
pressed air).
