If you wish to exhaust the air unducted via a silencer, use
the narrow metal silencer type U−½−B for exhaust plates
(separate exhaust ports 3 and 5) due to the limited space.
Proceed as follows:
1. Loosen the 4 retaining screws of the exhaust plate or the
6 retaining screws of the exhaust port cover and remove
them from the basis component.
2. Check the seal between the basis component and the
exhaust plate for damage. Replace the seal if it is dam
aged.
3. Make sure that the seal is seated correctly in the groove
in the pneumatic supply plate.
4. Fasten the exhaust plate only with the original screws.
Tighten the screws in diagonally opposite sequence at
first slightly and then with 2.2 Nm
Information on mounting the manifold sub−base for the soft−
start valve can be found in the VABV−S6−1Q−... assembly in
structions.
