5. Maintenance and conversion

1. Loosen the electrical and pneumatic connections and re
move the valve terminal from its mounting surface (see in
this chapter Dismantling the VTSA... valve terminal").
2. Place the valve terminal on a flat working surface.
3. Loosen the screws of the components (manifold sub−base,
pneumatic supply plate or right−hand end plate) which
you wish to dismantle in the sequence 1, 4, 3, 2 (see
Fig. 5/3).
4. Then remove the screws. The loosened manifold sub−
bases are now held together only by the electrical inter
linking module or by the bus.

5. Pull the corresponding component away from the adjac
ent component.
