Pressure zone separation
The VTSA... valve terminal can be provided with 1 to 16 pres
sure zones with the widths 18 mm and 26 mm, or with 1 to 32
pressure zones with widths 42 mm and 52 mm. These pres
sure zones are created with special seal plates with duct sep
aration. The following ducts can be separated with the sealing
plates:
Supply duct (1) only
Supply duct (1) and exhaust ducts (3) and (5)
Exhaust ducts (3) and (5) only
In the VTSA... valve terminal, the pilot control for the valves is
supplied with pilot air centrally via the right end plate or via
the soft−start valve. A pressure zone separation of pilot ducts
(12) and (14) is therefore not possible.
You can ascertain the number of pressure zones with which
your valve terminal is equipped, by the marking on the seal
plate (see figure).
