1. Overview of components

5/2−way valves with piston position query
The monostable 5/2−way valves with ID code SO or SQ (width
26 mm) have a piston position query. An inductive sensor
(N/C contact) monitors the neutral position of the piston
spool. The sensor has a PNP or an NPN output. The valve is
actuated via a multi−pin or fieldbus connection.
Control block for special functions
In control blocks with ID code SP or SN there are two mono−
stable 5/2−way valves connected in series.
The control block consists of the following components:
Two monostable 5/2−way valves
An inductive sensor with PNP or NPN output in the valve
for piston position query
Pneumatic pilot control interface in acc. with ISO 15218
Individual electrical connections on the pilot solenoid coil
(in acc. with DIN EN 175301−803 type C)
Covered manual overrides
Special vertical stacking plate which connects the two
valves in series.
5/3−way valve with extended function
The 5/3−way valves with ID code SA or SB have a signal−stor
ing function in switching position 14. If there is no longer a
signal on coil 14, the switching position 14 remains as is,
since there is no spring return on control side 12. Switching
position 12 is non−latching due to the mechanical spring
force.
