You can ascertain whether your VTSA... valve terminal is
equipped with pressure zones by the marking on the seal plates
(see position of the seal Fig. 5/7, marking the seal, Chapter 1,
Fig. 1/10).
In order to convert the VTSA... valve terminal to 2 and more
pressure zones, you will require the following components for
each pressure zone:
Seal plate with duct separation type VABD−...−10−P...−C
For each pressure zone, a pneumatic supply plate with
exhaust plate or exhaust port cover type VABF−...−1P1A...
Proceed as follows:
1. Loosen the electrical and pneumatic connections and re
move the valve terminal from the mounting surface (see
Section 5.2).
2. Place the valve terminal on a flat working surface.
3. Loosen the manifold sub−base at the point where the seal
plate with duct separation is to be inserted (see Section
5.3.4).
Proceed as follows:
1. Place the seal with duct separation onto the guide pins of
the manifold sub−base.
2. Mount the manifold sub−base (see Section 5.3.4).
3. Mount the valve terminals onto the mounting surface
(see Chapter 2, Section 2.2.1 for H−rail mounting or Sec
