2.1 Help messages

Help code Description
H3 01 The rotating element on the panoramic unit is
not located in its starting position.
H3 10 The system is performing an action.
H3 20 The exposure parameters have not been
acknowledged yet.
H3 21 The X-ray room door contact is not detected.
H3 22 Quadrant for TSA exposure is not selected.
Plus
(only for XG )
H3 30 Indicates number of exposures remaining
(PPE concept).
(XG 3 PPE only)
1. After each power-up (see S017.22)
2. After each exposure if the number of expo-
sures remaining is below the defined warning
level (see S017.23)
H3 31 No further exposures available.
(XG 3 PPE only)
H4 01 The sensor on the panoramic unit is not properly
plugged in or is missing.
H4 02 The sensor on the cephalometer is not properly
plugged in or is missing.
H4 03 SIDEXIS is not ready for exposure.
H4 04 The sensor does not match the selected expo-
sure type
H4 05 The sensor does not match the selected expo-
sure type
H4 06 The cephalometer is not located in its starting
position.
H4 07 Unit uses default settings for this exposure,
since the settings specified by SIDEXIS cannot
be taken over.

Help messages

Help messages are displayed as help codes (Hxxx) on the touchscreen of the
Plus ready
Easypad (XG / 3D ), on the display of the Multipad (XG5/3/3 PPE) or
on the remote control display (if available). The codes tell you how to operate
the system if radiation release is not possible due to a previous operator error.
The following list provides you with an overview of all help codes, their mean-
ing and the action required to eliminate the corresponding problems:
Actions required
Press the R key:
Panoramic unit moves to starting position.
Wait until the system is ready.
Press the R key:
Exposure data are confirmed.
Close the door or check door contact.
Select quadrant via Easypad.
Request new activation code via Sirona
Customer Service Center (CSC) in due
time.
Enter new "activation code".
Plug sensor into PAN slot.

sensor is plugged in, this indicates a system er-
ror. Perform error diagnostics according to Sec-
tion 3.2.
Plug sensor into Ceph slot.

Make SIDEXIS ready for exposure.
