Enabling IP segment match

This feature enables the local interface to check whether its IP address and the IP address of the
remote interface are in the same network segment. If they are not, IPCP negotiation fails.
To enable IP segment match:

Enter system view.

If the server acts as a DHCP
server, perform the following
tasks:
Configure the DHCP
server.
Configure a DHCP
address pool on the
server.
If the server acts as a DHCP
relay agent, perform the
following tasks:
Configure the DHCP
relay agent on the server.
Configure a DHCP
address pool on the
remote DHCP server.
Enable the DHCP relay
agent to record relay
entries.
Configure a DHCP relay
address pool.
