To configure the authenticator:

Enter system view.

Enter interface view.

CHAP.

For local AAA authentication, the
username and password of the
authenticator must be configured
on the peer.
For remote AAA authentication,
the username and password of
the authenticator must be
configured on the remote AAA
server.
