Enabling PPPoE logging

The PPPoE logging feature enables the device to generate PPPoE logs and send them to the
information center. Logs are generated when the following requirements are met:
The number of PPPoE sessions reaches the upper limit for an interface, user, VLAN, or the
system.
New users request to come online.
A log entry records the interface-based, MAC-based, VLAN-based, or system-based session limit.
For information about the log destination and output rule configuration in the information center, see
Network Management and Monitoring Configuration Guide.
As a best practice, disable this feature to prevent excessive PPP log output.
To enable PPPoE logging:
Step
1.
Enter system view.
2.
Enable PPPoE logging.
