9.1
FUSING UNIT REMOVAL
1. Make sure that the main switch is turned off and the power supply cord is
unplugged.
2. Open the middle unit and the original feed unit.
3. Remove the middle right, top right, front right and the right horizontal
covers. (See Right Side Cover Removal.)
4. Remove the middle left, front left and the left horizontal covers. (See Left
Side Cover Removal.)
5. Remove the left inner cover (See Paper Feed Clutch Lubrication).
6. Close the middle unit and original feed unit.
7. Remove the used toner tank. (See Used Toner Removal.)
8. Remove the upper ozone filter [A] and the ozone filter duct [B] (2 screws).
9. Remove the upper pin [C] securing the main board bracket [D].
10. Remove the main board bracket with the main board and the lower pin [E].
11. Remove the exhaust fan motor [F] and ground wire [G] (2 screws, 2
toothed washers and 1 connector).
12. Remove the fan motor duct [H] ( 2 screws).
