3.3 ORIGINAL STOPPER MECHANISM

Originals should not be inserted during a copy cycle. To prevent originals
from being inserted, the machine locks the feeler of the original set detector
in the down position while copying. This is accomplished by the original
stopper solenoid [A].
When the original stopper solenoid turns on, the stopper arm [B] rotates
against the feeler of the original set sensor. This locks the feeler in the down
position so that originals can only be inserted as far as the original set sensor.
