10.7 REGISTRATION ADJUSTMENT
10.7.1 Registration Adjustment for Manual Feed and Sheet Feeder
When:

How:
1. Adjust the original registration sensor voltage as follows:
ADJUSTMENT STANDARD +2.6 ± 0.1 V
1) Remove the middle right cover.
2) Set the multimeter range to dc 20 V and connect the multimeter leads
as shown.
3) Turn on the main switch.
4) Adjust the voltage by turning VR101 on the main board [A] if the
voltage is not within the adjustment standard.
2. Make several copies by using the manual feed or sheet feeder and check
the registration.
3. Adjust the registration using SP #26 if the registration is not within the
adjustment standard.
4. If the registration is not within adjustment standard using SP #26, adjust
the registration using SP #27.
Registration is not within the adjustment standard.
To maintain proper registration.
0 ± 2 mm (0 ± 0.08")
SP #26 (0.25 mm/step, 9 steps) or
SP #27 (1 mm/step, 10 steps)
Change the registration roller start timing by SP #26 or SP
#27.
