Logical Topology Design Example

The logical topology design increased the total port count by two,
which is within the limits of the planned hardware purchase.
In Figure B-1, the Symmetrix ports providing access for the file server
volumes are spread between two Symmetrix Fibre Channel directors
(FAs) and share FAs with print and communications servers. The
Exchange and SQL servers share an FA.
The single-HBA Zone Set for the configuration is illustrated in
Figure B-2 on page B-8 and tabled in Table B-2 on page B-9. The
illustration shows the first Zone of each application. The table lists all
Zones in the configuration's Zone Set, names the Zones, and
identifies the members of each Zone.
