This operation is optional.
If the Connectrix service processor's e-mail notification feature will
be used, perform these tasks:
Determine if e-mail notification will be used for significant
system events.
Determine which personnel (up to five) require e-mail
notification of significant events, and record their e-mail
addresses.
Identify an e-mail server that supports the Simple Mail Transfer
Protocol (SMTP) standard as defined in RFC 821.
Configure the return address that accompanies the e-mail sent
from the service processor. For more information, refer to
Managing Return E-Mail Addresses in Chapter 6 of the Connectrix
Manager User Guide.
