The characters described with [ ] denote control codes.

• This ASCII Code differs from the ANSI Standard ASCII Code in the symbols denoted by the following codes.
• 5C (HEX)
• 60 (HEX)
• 7E (HEX)
• When using the external device set by 2byte, NUL00 (HEX) can be used. Please add NUL00 (HEX) before STX or after
delimiter.
• To input the control codes in the barcode/2D code strings, set the code data as follows:
• The following control codes EOT, FS, GS, RS, or US you can set with BBS or SIN command by using ASCII code. In
this case, set the other characters by using ASCII code, too.
• To include the control codes other than EOT, FS, GS, RS, or US in the strings, set the all control codes with BRS or
SIN command by using these 2-byte alternate codes instead of ASCII code. In this case, set the other characters
including alphanumeric by using Shift-JIS code.
