9-4 BODY SERVICE
Front Door Lock Assembly
1. Door latch
2. Outside handle
3. Inside handle bezel
4. Latch striker
5. Cover
Security and Locks
6. Key cylinder
7. Key cylinder retainer
8. Door lock screw
9. Door latch striker screw
10. Door lock bolt (vehicle with power door lock system)
REMOVAL
1) Remove door trim and door sealing cover, refer to steps 1) to
2) Raise window all the way up.
3) Remove door sash.
4) Remove door lock cover (1).
5) Disconnect door opening control rod (2) from outside handle.
6) Disconnect door lock control rod (3).
7) Disconnect door lock motor lead wire (if equipped).
8) Remove door lock nob (4).
9) Loosen door lock mounting screw (5), door lock mounting

door lock assembly (7).
