REMOVAL
(1) Disconnect the battery cables.
(2) Remove air cleaner assembly (Fig. 87).

(3) Remove the battery hold down clamp and
remove the battery (Fig. 88).

(4) Remove the battery tray (Fig. 89).

(5) Disconnect input speed sensor connector.
(6) Unscrew and remove input speed sensor (Fig.
90).
(7) Inspect speed sensor o-ring (Fig. 91) and
replace if necessary.
