INSTALLATION
(1) Install solenoid/pressure switch assembly to
case using a new gasket (Fig. 73).
(2) Install bolts and torque to 13 N·m (110 in. lbs.)
(Fig. 72).
(3) Install 8-way connector and torque screw to 4
N·m (35 in. lbs.).
(4) Uncap and install transmission oil cooler lines.
(5) Install input speed sensor (Fig. 71) and torque
to 27 N·m (20 ft. lbs.).
(6) Install the battery tray (Fig. 70).
(7) Install the battery and hold down clamp (Fig.
69).
(8) Install air cleaner assembly (Fig. 68).
(9) Connect battery cables.
(10) Perform Transaxle Quick Learn Procedure.
Refer to SERVICE PROCEDURES.
TRANSMISSION RANGE SENSOR
The valve body assembly must be removed to gain
access to and replace the transmission range sensor.
Gasket
REMOVAL
(1) Disconnect the battery cables.
(2) Remove air cleaner assembly (Fig. 74).

(3) Remove the battery hold down clamp and
remove the battery (Fig. 75).
