Seat belts, inspecting

Belt webbing, checking
- Pull belt completely out of inertia reel or belt
adjustment tongue.
- Check belt for dirt, if necessary wash with mild
soap solution also owner's manual.
If either of the following damages (1 and 2)
are found on an accident vehicle, replace
belt complete with belt lock.
If damages as shown under points 1, 2, or 3
are found on a vehicle not involved in an
accident, it is sufficient to just replace the
affected belt.
1 - Belt webbing cut, torn or chafed.
