Note:
When new, set the adjustment stop to a
clearance of 3 mm. The spacer web -2- rests
against the threaded sleeve -1-.
- Pull out detent slide and press in again as far
enough until locking lugs -4- engage in recess -5-.
Clearance between housing and rubber buffer b
mm.
- Insert adjusting stop, press in spreader pins.
- Close tailgate with light pressure.
- Open tailgate again.
- Tighten clamping screw -7- with 1 Nm (9 in. lb).
