The lower judgement function can be turned on/off.
When the lower judgement function is on, the test ends with a FAIL judgement if
the measured insulation resistance or the value of the leakage current that flows
through the insulation resistance drops below the lower reference.
The lower reference is explained in the following section.
If the lower judgement function is off, the test ends without a FAIL judgement.
You can set the lower judgement function to ON/OFF using the SHIFT + F2 keys,
regardless of the location of the cursor. Each time the SHIFT + F2 keys are pressed,
ON and OFF alternate.
The
keys can be used to move the cursor to ON/OFF of the lower judge-
ment function. When the cursor is located at ON/OFF of the lower judgement func-
tion, the rotary knob can be used to make settings.
Turn the rotary knob clockwise
Turn the rotary knob counterclockwise : OFF
• If the lower and upper judgement function is off, no FAIL judgement is
made for that function. Note that a PASS judgement is made when the
timer is turned on.
You can set the lower and upper references using resistance or current values. For
details, see, "Selecting Resistance Value-based or Current Value-based Judgement"
on page 5-26.
