• If the upper reference is set to above 2.5 mA, the protective circuit may be
activated. To avoid this, set the output time to 1 minute or less and provide
a pause longer than the test time.

The upper reference can be set to 1 µA through 5.50 mA (at a resolution of 0.01 mA
for the 1.00 mA to 5.50 mA range, and 1 µA for the 1 µA to 999 µA range).
Once a current exceeding the upper reference is detected, the test ends with a FAIL
judgement.
If the cursor is at the upper reference, the rotary knob can be used to make settings.

• With the lower judgement function on, if the upper reference is set at or below the
lower reference, "READY" disappears and "UP<=LOW" flashes at the top right
of the LCD to indicate that testing cannot be performed (the lower reference is
factory-set to 0.20 mA). Lower the lower reference, raise the upper reference, or
turn off the lower judgement function.
• When settings are being made, if the test voltage multiplied by the upper reference
exceeds 55 W, "READY" disappears and "OVER 55 W" flashes at the top right of
the LCD to indicate that testing cannot be performed. In such a case, lower the test
voltage or the upper reference.
