The WC 8180 controller supports local MTU configuration by enabling or disabling
jumbo-frame support. When jumbo frame support is disabled, The local MTU can
be configured in the range between 1250 and 1500 bytes; otherwise it can be in the
range of 1250 and 2372.
Note:
When you disable jumbo frame support, and the configured tunnel path MTU at
the time of the change is more than 1500 bytes, the tunnel path MTU configuration
is changed to 1492.
CLI reference:
WC8180 (config)#no jumbo-frames enable
Warning: Tunnel-path-MTU configuration exceeds desired local port MTU.
