Simrad TV80 Reference Manual

The TV80 menu system

The menu system is by default located on the right hand side of the TV80 presentation.
The menus are organized in a tree structure with a main menu, a set of secondary menus,
and several menu buttons. Some of the menu buttons open dialog boxes or sub-menus to
offer additional choices.
The
menu is located at the top of the menu structure.
Main
It offers the most common functions for efficient use of
the TV80. Unless you hide the entire menu system from
view, the
menu is visible at all times, even if you

close the secondary menus.
Below the
menu, a set of dedicated icons are used

Tip
Unless you need to make frequent changes to the operational parameters, you may
wish to hide the menu from the TV80 presentation. This will give you more space
to present echo data. To hide the menu, select

one more time. When the menu is hidden, it is temporarily shown on the left or
