SR70 Receiver Unit

The SR70 Receiver Unit comprises a rugged box providing all necessary receiver electronics.
The receiver is designed for low noise, and it can handle input signals spanning a very large
instantaneous dynamic amplitude range. All targets are correctly measured and displayed.
Depending on your fishing requirements, you may
need to install more than one hydrophone to receive
the information from the catch sensors. With a single
channel receiver, you must manually switch between the
hydrophones to check which hydrophone that provides the
best communication. The SR70 Receiver Unit allows you
to connect four hydrophones. This allows simultaneous
reception without any need of switches or splitters.
The SR70 Receiver Unit operates on 110 to 230 VAC. A high quality Ethernet cable
connects the SR70 Receiver Unit to the Processor Unit. The distance between the Processor
Unit and the SR70 Receiver Unit can be extended up to maximum 70 meters.

Hydrophone

Two hull mounted hydrophones are available, one for purse seining operations, and one for
trawl operations. You can install both, and then select active hydrophone by means of
a selector box on the bulkhead. You can also select the active hydrophones by means of
dedicated dialog boxes in the TV80.
Purse seine hydrophone
The hull mounted hydrophone for purse seining operations has a 90 degrees horizontal
beam and a 30 degrees vertical beam to provide the system with optimal reception
from the sensors on a purse seine.
This specific beam pattern is especially suited for purse seining.
