Main PX Sensors configuration parameters

Catch monitoring sensors are delivered from Kongsberg Maritime AS readily set up with
common default settings. In some cases, you may find that the default parameters do not
suit your operational needs. When required, each individual sensor may be configured
to specify its communication channel and which measurements to make. The different
dialog boxes allow you to select and define the main parameters of your catch
Configurator
monitoring sensors.
Description
In order to configure a catch monitoring sensor, it must be connected to the Processor Unit
with a dedicated Configurator cable. If you wish to use older sensors (not PX family), these
must be configured using their dedicated applications before you add them.
The decision to configure a sensor is one you must make depending on how many sensors
you use, and how many of these are identical.
Dedicated dialog boxes are provided to configure the new sensor. Depending on the type
of sensor, its location on the gear and where it points to (vessel or gear), the parameters
may change. In order to make a decision upon every parameter, we recommend you to get
familiar with the parameters descriptions.
If you program a sensor for one function (or measurement) in one location, it will not work
if you install it somewhere else.
