H P 1 345A DISPLAY
The H P 1 345A d is p l ay is a stand alone d igital d is p l ay. Use the H P 1 345A service m a n u a l
i n c l uded w i t h the i n stru ment to service the d is p l ay. T o verify the d is p l ay is fai l i ng, set
j u mper A1 7 W1 to the test (T) position. The pattern displayed shou ld be the same as shown
in fi g u re D-1 . To re move the d is p l ay from the i n stru ment perform steps 1 through 8:
1 . Di scon nect the m a i n power cord from the rear panel and rem ove the top cove r.
2 . Remove the i nternal s h ie l d covering the d i s p l ay u n it.
3. Remove the trim strips from the front frame.
4. Remove the front frame and s i d e panel screws as shown in figu re D-2 .
5 . Rem ove the sc rews that attach the d i splay to the i nstrum ent as shown i n f i g u re D-2 .
6. Remove the two sc rews attac h i ng the d i splay adjustme nts to the rear panel of the
i n strum ent.
7. Di sconnect the d is p l ay power cable (W1 1 ).
8. Discon nect the d isplay i nterface cables (W1 4, W1 90, W1 91 , W1 92). The d is p l ay can
now be pu l led from the front of the i n stru ment.
